i-cut Production Console
Features
Easier, faster and flawless production with iPC 3.3
Designed for increased versatility and high uptime, the iPC 3.1 operator software delivers a major leap in productivity and ease of use. By automating manual steps to achieve seamless production after initial set-up, this software provides considerable advantages for operators - combining precision tools, an intuitive interface and advanced automation to enable smarter and more efficient operations.
The all new File Explorer in iPC speeds up layout creation by letting you browse local and network folders for cut files directly within the software. You can instantly preview supported formats without importing, then drag and drop files into new layouts for a faster workflow. A redesigned materials and sizes dialog further simplifies setup, making layout creation quicker and more intuitive.
iPC now automatically extracts Kongsberg metadata from incoming PDFs, eliminating manual setup and ensuring consistent, error free production. Key job attributes—such as material name, flute direction, sheet size, preview image, copy count, and QR code placement—are supported. With ai cut 26.1 for Adobe Illustrator, you can also add, edit, and manage all supported metadata directly within your PDF files for a faster, smarter workflow.
The new Move Curves with Mouse tool in the Layers view gives you fast, intuitive control by letting you reposition selected curves directly with the mouse. You can freely adjust curve placement when preparing unprinted jobs, while curves remain locked whenever the tool is inactive, preventing accidental shifts and preserving design accuracy.
Adjust material size directly within the Layers view for a more unified setup experience from layout through production, with consistent control in every step. Internal and job offsets are clearly visualized in the preview area, making adjustments easier to understand. You can also unlock rotation to independently rotate the job and material, giving you greater flexibility when preparing both printed and unprinted work.
Reverse Operation layers can now be cut using the PressCut tool on Ultimate, C Series, and XP tables, or the KissCut tool on X Series and XN tables, expanding flexibility across your production workflow. This enhancement lets you kiss cut adhesive vinyl and label materials from the front, then through cut and score the liner from the back, all in a single production.
iPC now supports the Extended Auto Safety (EAS) system on Ultimate and C Series tables equipped with feeder stacker automation, delivering a safer and more reliable production environment. All safety sensor states are clearly visualized, making it easy to pinpoint issues and resolve them quickly to keep your production running smoothly.
