Tap with ease

• With upgraded tapping feature, the Pneumatic ‘Quick Change’ Knife body allows for both knife and tapping tool change capabilities.
• The machine can use up to 10 different tap sizes in one job, requiring less operator intervention and delivering more automation.
• Tapping non-ferrous metal, dense plastics, or hardened advanced material is fast, easy, and reduces secondary operations.
• Repeatably accomplish accurate blind-tapped holes for applications such as installing stand-offs in face-front signage.

Superb dust collection with new dust boot

• A newly designed dust boot provides better particulate pick-up and improved flow design.
• Improved misting: the integrated misting nozzle directs misting fluid better on the tool and on the material.
• New quick-release dust boot attachments enable the operator to easily switch from bristles to spring loaded glide pad, for better particulate pickup in different applications.
• Utilize quick-release boot attachments to replace worn bristles with ease. No more working upside down on cast dust boot to replace bristles.
• Note: The retrofittable boot design can update any Apex 1R, 3R, or 5000 Series Router with cast dust boot!
